Fund It Forever
It is our desire to help people support charities to a larger degree than they are doing it today through a unique funding mechanisms.
Fund It Forever also works to stop the persecution and mistreatment of all people throughout the world; focusing on stopping the sex trade and slave trade and changing laws that cause or enforce punishment for social and religious personal choices that do not harm others; protecting children and keeping others from being exploited to whatever degree is possible; freeing those imprisoned throughout the world for "being Christian," converting to Christianity, or talking about Christianity and then doing the same for people of other persecuted groups as well.
We firmly believe that this altruism will inspire others.
Who is FIF?
FIF also known “Fund It Forever” is a nonprofit organization created and established by Clint Goolsby and Shawn Shrestha in 2017. Due to the raising out cry of the oppressed Christians, orphans, and exploited children for sex trade, we felt called to take action. After many hours of prayer for guidance and insight, and a significant amount of research into the reasons why others are not taking action, we determined that the biggest shortfall was in funding.
Our primary focus turned to finding a sound way to fill this gap. With our backgrounds in economics, finance and insurance, we began to piece together the necessary elements to establish a solid foundation for FIF, a foundation that can enable others to multiply their contributions to the charities they love and believe in.
Why use FIF?
Through this website and our 501(c)(3) charitable corporation, we are empowering others to increase their capacity for charitable giving. FIF has successfully created a funding platform where you can donate a specific amount to any charity of your choice by creating a permanent endowment benefiting your charity. With FIF, the amount donated may be multiplied over time and your charity would end up with larger sum of funding from the initial amount than it would through traditional funding methods. Ultimately, if fully funded through FIF, your charity would be able to keep performing their tasks without running into the usual risks involved due to lack of donors in future. The purpose is to enlarge the donation amount using various endowment method that keeps giving to the charity forever.
As the parable of the talents described in the bible in both Matthew and Luke, a master puts his servants in charge of his goods while he is away on a trip. Upon his return, the master assesses the stewardship of his servants. He evaluates them according to how faithful each was in making wise investments of his goods to obtain a profit. The master sought some profit from the servants’ oversight. A gain indicated faithfulness on the part of the servants. The master rewards his servants according to how each has handled his stewardship. He judges two servants as having been “faithful” and gives them a positive reward. To the single unfaithful servant who “played it safe” and buried his talent, he was punished for his actions.
Knowing that God wants us to use our talents has strengthened our desire to pursue God’s kingdom and find ways to help others maximize their talents with all our heart.
- According to the Center for the Study of Global Christianity (CSGC) at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Massachusetts, the number of Christians who died as martyrs between 2000 and 2010 is about one million, which averages about 100,000/year.
- The births of nearly 230 million children under age 5 worldwide (about one in three) have never been recorded, depriving them of their right to a name and nationality.1
- As of 2013, an estimated 17.7 million children worldwide had lost one or both parents to AIDS. Most of these children live in sub-Saharan Africa.1
- Runaway or throwaway children are among the most frequently targeted for sex trafficking. Many are homeless, living on the street, and in need of support, money, shelter, and food.
- According to Estes & Weiner (2001), in 1999, there were over 1.6 million youth considered runaway or throwaway. Of that 1.6 million, over 70 percent were at risk for sexual exploitation (Estes & Weiner, 2001).
- Traffickers target youth promising them money, shelter, and security (Williamson & Cluse-Tolar, 2002).
Traditional way of raising funds:
- Multiple visits to church
- Connecting with several other Non-Profit organization
- Raffle tickets
- Luncheon and dinners
- Running Marathon
- and much more………….
- Its time consuming.
- It’s expensive.
- No guaranties in amount that is to be raised.
Alternative FIF is introducing:
FIF with joint venture with its concerned parties will invest in forming Green Houses and refuge centers. In its first year there will be a couple of refuge centers and a greenhouse will be built with the first $6,000,000 of the investment money. Concerned party will be given an equity ownership of the project. The profit that is generated from the ownership position will be used for the further expansion of the refuge centers and green houses. The overhead cost of running the facilities will be covered by the money earned through the ownership returns every year.
In addition, FIF will have no ownership on any refuge centers built. FIF will have no control over how the refuge centers are run. FIF will no part in refuge centers except for assisting to build and run the facilities.
This is a most reasonable way to ensure that the facilities keep getting built and funded for it be run. Ownership position will keep the concerned parties from having to run a charity fund raising event just to keep the facility open and running properly.
